DDHF Collected Over 250 Items for Food Bank

Durham Dales Health Federation have collected over 250 items varying from gifts to hygiene products, for the local food bank hosted by The Angel Trust in Bishop Auckland.

DDHF held a raffle, for which all proceeds were to fund further items to donate to those in need. The Angel Trust support County Durham Food Banks who work directly with The Trussell Trust to provide emergency food and support to those in need.

The Angel Trust are the only official Food Bank in Bishop Auckland. Our Social Prescribing Link Workers and Care Coordinators have signposted and referred patients to The Trussel Trust for support with access to Food Banks across Durham Dales.
