Green Impact is a United Nations award-winning programme that fosters environmentally and socially sustainable practices within organisations.
Run by SOS-UK, a student-formed initiative, it is fully accredited and recognised by UNESCO, having successfully operated for 15 years.
Green Impact supports your organisation in achieving its sustainability goals by motivating and empowering employees and volunteers to take action. Our employee engagement model, developed over fifteen years and based on proven behaviour change theories, is flexible and can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each organisation.
The programme features a comprehensive online toolkit with 120 actions designed to enhance sustainability, quality, and cost savings. These actions are aligned with the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring meaningful and far-reaching impact.
DDHF are committed to working with SOS to support sustainability and are in the process of reviewing all their systems and procedures in line with the themes within the Green Impact Award to work towards Zero Carbon. Watch this space for news on how we are progressing with this.
