Stop Smoking for Stoptober and you’re 5 times more likely to quit for good!
At Smokefree County Durham, we can support individuals to quit smoking this Stoptober, with 12 weeks of free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (*including vapes) and regular support from a highly skilled Specialist Practitioner.
*Vapes are not available to under 18’s or pregnant people.
New Incentive for Routine and Manual Workers
As a service, we are committed to reducing health inequalities across County Durham. Our research shows that people in certain job occupations, such as routine and manual working, are more likely to smoke. https://infogram.com/promoting-a-healthy-workforce-1h8n6m79odmj6xo?live
As a result, we have new funding to introduce a financial incentive for routine and manual workers where they can earn up to £120 for quitting smoking! This will be in the form of vouchers increasing in amounts as the individual progresses throughout their quit journey, being rewarded at their initial appointment, 4 weeks smoke free, and 12 weeks quit. This will launch on the 1st of October as a pilot scheme until the 31st of December 2024.
